What is this Sheeeeet?

I don't want to bog my Babyfruit blog down with all my whining about getting old. I figured other women out there are freaking out about the weird things that are happening to them after 40. Can anyone say "Peri-menopause" without cringing?

So I'm going to chronicle my (mis)adventures in 40-someshit women's health. Come ride with me. It won't be fun, but hopefully it will be (at least a little) funny.

Warning: This blog is not for the feint of heart or anyone who doesn't like to read about the inner workings of a shriveling uterus.

Alright! Now get started!!! I'll be glad to chip in! Boy... 3 years into it, and I'm still adjusting.

This "invitation" is tres oxymoronic, i.e., full of vacuousness. Thanks for fulfilling the "no commitments or opinions of women over forty who want to be funny but not undesirable" -- i.e., Desperate Housewives/Divorcees...

Thanks but no thanks.

Does anyone have any idea what Jennifer is talking about? I for one am totally lost. Is she being mean?

It seemed to me that Jennifer was being...well, mean, maybe.

On the other hand, maybe she's just trying to be positive. I'm now 5 years into the forties and did also have a feeling of "this isn't going to be fun..." but now I've decided I need to enjoy my life. It's still my life and no one, including the media that says it's over after forty/fifty/whatever, gets to tell me differently.

I thought I posted to this earlier...but maybe not. In any case, Dr. Sherman, thanks for following my blog, and I'll also follow yours...are there to be more posts? Or do I need to get on facebook?

Regardless, this is a discussion we all need to have. My blog is also about this, though with a style and clothing slant.
